The lastest

Hello Everyone,

I thought it was about time for an update on my stitching.  Last night was my stitching night with my friends at Kranberry Kupboard.  As always, it was so much fun.   They were so supportive and impressed with my taking on my first HAED.  They are the most wonderful group of ladies.

I worked on my HAED and got my first 10x10 done!!
I have a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go, but it's a start!  And, I loved doing it.

Next I did "my framing" of three finished pieces.  Of course they came out wonky.  I am always and forever crooked!
I am also obviously sideways and blurry!!  Thank you Meari for fixing the pic for me and making it straight!!!

One of my little brother's best friends lives in sweden.  He asked me if I could make him three hello kitties for his nieces.  Of course I said yes.  They were small and I am thinking of making myself one!

I did them on the aida with silver floss going through it.  I didnt fill in the white, just left it the shiny aida and it looks sooo cute!!

I am working on my house also, the one from posts before when I asked what to do next and chose the house.  Well I think I made a mistake and I just hope I can fudge it along.  I do not want to take apart anything!  NO FROGS!!!

Well I guess that is all for tonight.  I am hoping to go through my stitching stuff and maybe find something for another give away.

Oh yes, I am looking for magazines.  I LOVE ME SOME MAGS.  If anyone has mags they are looking to get rid of, please let me know.  I am willing to trade, pay shipping, whatever.

Much Love,
Jenn

Congrats on the HAED. I have 3 or 4 and haven't started them yet. Keep getting side tracked by Joan Elliott! Like the fuzzy's. Your hello kitty cats look beautiful. The silver aida sets them off nicely! Deb

I have some of the small, free HAED charts to do. They are staying on the to do later list until I finish some other WIP...trying to get my list down to one WIP at a time. Have you tried the sticky backing to keep your work straight when you frame? It is what my mom uses and hers always look so nice and unwrinkled and straight in the frame. Hopefully I can get as good at framing as she is! Keep up the good work on your HAED!

How nice of you to stitch these 3 Hello Kitties! Good start on your HAED. Each and every 100-stitch square will get you one step closer! I use the sticky-backed boards to mount my cross stitch (from Michael's).
