I just received a RAK and I could cry. Evalina, Thank you so much. I now have my first, gorgeous, HAED chart thanks to Evalina. It is one of my favorites, too. Wood Witch!! This one:
I love to stitch HAED's designs on 22ct with 2 threads of floss. There is a lot of black in this chart (15 skeins!) and I think it would be very hard to stitch all these dark colours on 25ct. Some stitchers are prefer 18 ct aida. Try to stitch some on different counts and see what you are most comfortable with.
How wonderful. Evalina is a darling woman, and I'm not surprised she RAKed you a chart. Sounds like she has it too, so maybe you could SAL it with her? I have six HAEDs in various states of progress. One is tent stitch over one with two threads on twenty two, two are tent stitch two threads over one on twenty eight, and three are gonna be tent stitch two threads over one on twenty five. I would go along with Evalina though. Try tent stitch and full crosses, on several different counts with different numbers of strands to see what you like before you buy your fabby. And Enjoy!!!
